“Nature needs no help, just no interference.”

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic healthcare focuses on the function of the nervous system and its intimate relationship with the spine. Remove interference to the body’s communication system, and the body can take care of itself better. The nervous system is by far the most important system in the body, controlling and coordinating all other systems. Through specific chiropractic adjustments to misaligned segments of the spinal column—vertebral subluxations—the communication of the nervous system may be restored to its normal function. This influences the brain to enter an appropriate state of rest and repair to allow the human body to heal and regulate itself naturally.

  • Better Posture - The spine moves from flexed, defensive positions of wear to healthy, open, upright position. This puts the body in a more optimal posture for breathing and vital organ function.

Mental Ease - The brain switches from heavy stress hormone production to relax and recovery hormone production. From cortisol and adrenaline production to acetylcholine release.

Inflammation Control - Global inflammation levels are more appropriately regulated with a well-adjusted spine.

Brain Stimulation - Studies prove that the pre-frontal cortex of the brain has improved function after chiropractic adjustments are performed.

Restored Mobility - Chiropractic care address joints that are not moving within their normal limits. With improved posture, restoration of mobility is often gained through the course of chiropractic care.

  • We primarily use what is known as the “Palmer Package” - a blend of manual chiropractic techniques. These include the Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, and extremity adjusting techniques.

Dr. Weston also has certifications in Webster and soft tissue techniques, allowing modifications for specific prenatal, pediatric, and other sensitive cases.

Depending on your condition, other therapies like decompression may be recommended. Every issue in the body is metabolic as well as mechanical, so oftentimes a functional nutrition consultation will be recommended to achieve optimal health and healing.

  • Decompression therapy reduces the pressure caused by gravity and soft tissues, and sufficient tension extends spinal separation and the intervertebral disc. Negative pressure is created within the intervertebral disc, which increases its hydration, promotes nutrient intake within the disc, and reduces pressure on the nerve root by removing the force applied to the vertebral pulp.

Chiropractic is a tool to optimize your physiology. You may notice improvements to your:

Sleep + Headaches + Posture + Brain Fog + Coordination + Focus and Attention + Mobility + Arm or Leg Pain + Digestion + Breathing + Energy + Anxiety and Stress + General Pain + Mood + Quality of Life

What else can chiropractic care help with?

  • Spinal Decompression

Compression of vertebral discs can accelerate degeneration and arthritis, resulting in nerve pain and poor mobility.

  • Prenatal Care

Chiropractic helps pain that can come with physical changes during pregnancy, and it may lead to a smoother birth process.

  • Pediatric Care

Birth is traumatic for both mother and infant. Early chiropractic can help with your baby’s development.

  • Auto Accidents

Even small fender benders can result in whiplash that may not cause problems until weeks after the accident.

  • Spinal Scoliosis

Scoliosis can disrupt vital organ function and may require irreversible surgery. Correct the curves sooner than later.

  • Nerve Pain

Spinal misalignments and tissue restriction can lead to nerve pain and poor quality of life. Chiropractic can be very effective.
